Log in and select a sample case

1. Open the personal practice area at the desired test, live or trial address. Log in using your authorised CASA access. Joint registration is managed via CASA FUNDS; a ChatGPT account is not required.
2. Enter your password or verification code only on the login page. Then select your assigned Sample group.
3. To continue working, select an existing exercise or reference under Saved sample case. No restart is required.
4. For a different initial workflow state, open View reference or start a new exercise and select a Initial scenario. The description states the expected result.

If no sample group appears, the registration may have been successful, but the personal assignment is missing. Please have this checked; a third-party account is not a substitute.

View the reference or edit it yourself

• Open read-only reference: Check a prepared process status without altering it.
• Create your own practice copy: Create an editable copy of the selected initial workflow state. The existing exercises will be retained.
• Assume a role in the simulated business process: Compare the roles on offer within your sample group. Changing roles does not grant actual administrator rights and is no substitute for an independent team review.

The process stages currently available and their numbers are displayed directly in the catalogue. Check both the desired normal sequence and the exception and completion stages on offer. A visible reference stage alone does not confirm that every associated action has been successfully carried out.

Understanding processes and results

Once opened, the portal for the selected sample case will appear. Please refer to the description of the initial status, the selected role and the actions available in each instance. Check the project enquiry and briefing, processing and queries, review and approval, as well as the proposed closure and exception cases.

Please note the markings Read-only reference or Editable exercise, the run and the saved state. An unavailable processing step may be an intended role or status boundary. Following an action, the saved state must reflect the expected result.

Files and log

Uploads are organised separately by sample group and exercise run. Please upload only fictitious documents and observe the limits shown on the form. Downloads will remain blocked until a security check has been confirmed; please do not circumvent this security measure.

Use Download sample workflow log to save the provided proof of the open sample case. Check that the download is complete and that the file can be opened. Practice texts are not exam submissions.

Restart and previous runs

To continue, simply select the saved sample case. Only select Restart exercise … if you intend to restart. Read the consequences and enter the confirmation requested there.

The current run, including its files, is archived beforehand. Other exercises and sample groups are retained. A deletion exercise only affects the current sample project; it does not affect previous archives or real client data. If an archived copy is restored, both the original exercise and the archive are retained; uploaded files must undergo a security check again.

The test, live and trial environments remain separate. Changes made to an exercise are not automatically applied to other environments or users.

Help and feedback

• ‘Practise with sample personal data’: The link opens the start screen. There, select a saved sample case or deliberately create your own practice copy.
• If the login page or the “Allow” dialogue box stops responding: Start a new sign-in via your personal practice area. Do not use a saved, old consent link.
• Only the built-in browser is affected: Open the standard portal address in your usual browser. This does not replace troubleshooting the built-in browser.
• Save failed: Save any unsaved fictitious entries before refreshing the page. Check your personal assignment, exercise role and the current saved status.

The independent team assessment involving a second person has been postponed separately. A solo exercise or a role swap does not constitute either this team assessment or confirmation that the system is fully operational. The operator area under ‘My CASA Access’ is separate from the technical exercise; administrative rights do not automatically grant access to other users’ project content.

When providing feedback, please state the portal address, the initial situation, the role you were playing in the exercise, the action taken, the expected outcome and the behaviour observed. Do not include any passwords or real customer data. Contact: s.siemers@casa-consult.de.
